Thomas E. Epley
Prior to joining Vance Street in 2009, Tom served as the General Manager, President and CEO and/or Chairman of more than a dozen independent companies, divisions or subsidiaries with revenues ranging from $50 million to $1 billion and spanning a variety of industries, most recently including Technicolor, Bekins, AMI Semiconductor, Globespan and Paradyne. He also authored and published “The Plague of Good Intentions”, an expose and creative-thinking piece on the plight of the sub-Saharan African countries.
Tom is a member of the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee at UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management and a member of the Board of Trustees at the Frederick S. Pardee RAND Graduate School in Policy Analysis. Tom holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a B.S.M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
